The goal of our blog is to explore the duality of representations of race in American popular culture. We will do this by discussing representation of mixed race identities, specific racial groups, and interracial relationships through the lenses of film, music, celebrities, social media, etc and their positive and negative effects on the racial group(s) it represents.
